Scope対象範囲

Within a defined set of senior leaders, official roles, and time periods, the archive aims to include every publicly disclosed official foreign-exchange event for which a published official source can be located. The boundary is deliberate and is part of what the archive claims. 定められた主要指導者・公式役職・対象期間の範囲において、公開された公式の典拠を確認できる対外交流を、可能な限りすべて収録することを目指しています。この範囲設定は意図的なものであり、アーカイブの主張の一部を構成します。

A source-backed approach典拠に基づくアプローチ

A record is included only when it can be tied to a specific published official source. Each record is described along five dimensions: 記録は、特定の公開された公式の典拠に結び付けられる場合にのみ収録します。各記録は次の5つの観点から整理しています。

Source — a published official article documents the exchange.典拠 — その交流を記録した公式の記事が公開されていること。
Date — the source reports the date of the exchange.日付 — 典拠に交流の日付が記載されていること。
Leader — the source names one of the registered leaders.人物 — 対象とする指導者のいずれかが典拠に明記されていること。
Official role at the time — the office held on the date, recorded separately from the leader's current title.当時の公式役職 — 当日に就いていた役職を、現在の肩書とは別に記録すること。
Counterpart — the source names the counterpart person and/or institution.相手 — 相手の人物または機関が典拠に明記されていること。

Role and event boundaries役職とイベントの境界

Because senior figures change roles over time, the office a leader held on the date of an exchange is recorded independently of their later or current title. This keeps role-level comparisons meaningful across periods. 主要人物の役職は時期とともに変わるため、交流の当日に就いていた役職を、その後または現在の肩書とは独立して記録します。これにより、時期をまたいだ役職単位の比較を適切に行えます。

Why some records are withheld or unresolved一部の記録を保留・未確定とする理由

Some exchanges are independently corroborated but cannot yet be tied to a located official source. These are documented separately as unresolved source-access cases rather than counted as confirmed records. Coverage is substantial but remains subject to ongoing source recovery. 一部の交流は独立して裏付けが得られているものの、公式の典拠をまだ特定できていません。これらは確定記録には数えず、未確定の典拠到達ケースとして別に整理しています。カバレッジは大きく拡充していますが、今後も典拠の確認に応じて更新されます。

Quality control品質管理

The archive is built through iterative, source-backed review, with automated consistency checks that hold the records to stable structural and substantive rules. Event text stays close to the wording of the underlying official source rather than being paraphrased. 本アーカイブは、典拠に基づく段階的な確認作業を通じて整備し、記録が一貫した構造的・内容的なルールを満たすよう、自動的な整合性チェックを併用しています。イベントの記述は要約せず、典拠となる公式情報の表現に忠実な形を保っています。

Known limits既知の限界

The archive does not record unpublished diplomacy, internal deliberation, negotiation content, or policy outcomes. Military diplomacy is maintained as a non-public research lane and is not part of the public archive: its source coverage is far below the publication threshold relative to actual military diplomacy, and publishing partial counts would invite over-reading. 本アーカイブは、非公開の外交活動、内部での検討、交渉の内容、政策上の帰結は記録しません。軍事外交は非公開の研究レーンとして維持しており、公開アーカイブには含まれません。実際の軍事外交に対して出典被覆が公開水準に達しておらず、部分的な件数の公開は過大な読み取りを招くためです。

Using the previewプレビューの利用について

The protected preview is capped and intended for reviewing structure, coverage, and usability rather than for full event-level analysis. It should not be treated as a final public dataset, and its contents should not be redistributed without permission. 保護付きプレビューは上限を設けたものであり、構造・カバレッジ・利用可能性を確認するためのものです。イベント単位の完全な分析を目的とはしておらず、確定した公開データセットとして扱うべきものではありません。内容を許可なく再配布しないでください。

Technical appendix技術的な補足

Records are drawn from published official source groups, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the State Council, the National People's Congress, the CPPCC, the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, and official news agencies, among others. Inclusion requires an article-level reference on one of these official source groups; reports from general media alone are not treated as confirmed records. 記録は、外交部、国務院、全国人民代表大会、全国政治協商会議、中国共産党中央対外連絡部、国営通信社などを含む、公開された公式の典拠グループから収集しています。収録には、これらの公式典拠グループにおける記事単位の参照が必要であり、一般報道のみによる情報は確定記録として扱いません。
